Games like Stalker and Metro series come into mind but those are generally considered more 'corridor' shooters in a sense and are more about the individual ea the player than anything else but then also something like Arx Fatalis is I think similar to System Shock but, Innovative art style combines retro future design with modern technologyīecome fully immersed: shoot, brawl, crawl, climb, leap and think your way through Citadel Station.In an indirect way related to gameplay: Wizardry 8 but it's similar in ways of it being a blend of FPS/RPG be it though a turn based game it's still something that reminds me of System Shock but it's a different type of game where you control over a party not necessarily just one person.īesides that, we can't really find a similar related game to System Shock 1 or 2 unless they were kind of like Dungeon Crawlers, because System Shock 1 (and 2) could be considered a 'Dungeon Crawler' in Space, and since dungeon crawlers aren't necessarily a popular type of game anymore I don't think something like this is plausible today.
